LaDama, a remarkable quartet that harnesses music from Brazil, Colombia, Venezuela and the United States — with a modern twist on Latin Alternative music — curates a new sound all their own. Virtuosic musicians and educators Lara Klaus, Daniela Serna, Mafer Bandola and Sara Lucas, all hailing from different countries, join together as sisters in song, rhythm and storytelling. Emerging from the rich bayous of Southern Louisiana, Tab Benoit is a Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter and guitarist with a remarkable 30+ year career. His gritty, soulful Delta swamp blues is a truly original sound that has garnered him many awards, including twice being named BB King Entertainer of the Year. Opening the show is JD Simo, a Chicago-born, Nashville transplant specializing in funky, raw blues music. This concert will surely shake the rafters!

Together with her husband and fellow peerless fiddler, Donnell Leahy, they showcase their virtuosity, synthesizing traditional influences with contemporary Celtic and traditional folk sensibilities. The colorful and creative Chicago Dance Crash has emerged as one of the premier hip hop/contemporary dance companies in the Midwest. With their signature blend of jazz, acrobatic and street dance styles, the company’s eight-member ensemble combines athleticism with accessibility. Performing “Keepers of the Floor,” this dance battle features some of Chicago’s most accomplished dancers in a competition that combines the energy of late-night theatre and the spectacle of sports entertainment — battling it out for the audience vote and the coveted KTF title belt!

Combining the great American traditions of bluegrass, hip hop, and beyond, Gangstagrass has created a whole new musical genre that is more than the sum of its parts. By weaving together multiple styles, this eclectic group creates a tapestry of sounds that depicts the shared strengths and struggles of ordinary people. This communal message aims to cast a lens on and amplify our shared roots and experiences as Americans. Their energy and music will have the audience dancing in the aisles!
