ABOUT THE SHOW:
Some of the best music is made by artists whose jams don’t fit inside a box.
Over the years, Cracker has been described as many things: alt-rock, Americana, insurgent-country, punk and even classic-rock. But more than anything, Cracker are survivors.
Co-founders David Lowery and Johnny Hickman have been at it for over a quarter of a century – amassing ten studio albums, multiple gold records, thousands of live performances and songs that are still in current radio rotation around the globe, despite major sea-changes within the music industry.
With a worldwide fan base and an arsenal of hit songs including “Low,” “Teen Angst (What the World Needs Now),” “Euro-Trash Girl” and “Get Off This,” just to name a few- enthusiasm for Cracker’s music, along with their listeners, continue to grow each year.

Punk-poet-troubadour and the leader of the ferocious musical outfit, The Ike Reilly Assassination, Ike Reilly is many things, including the host of Lies & Apologies on Sirius XM Radio and the subject of the award-winning documentary Don’t Turn Your Back On Friday Night – which had its Lake County debut right here at the James Lumber Center.
Now the Libertyville native is back again, joining forces with another of rock’s great pioneers.
Amidst all of the hype from his recently released 10th studio album, Blind and Surrounded, which has garnered critical praise in only a short time, Ike Reilly and his son Shane Reilly will be taking the JLC stage, supporting friends and former collaborators, Cracker.
