1619: The Journey of a People

In 1619, 20 enslaved Africans arrived in Point Comfort, VA. The 400-year journey that followed would change a nation and the world. Using various musical forms including hip-hop, jazz, and blues, this fabulous musical theater production commemorates the struggle for equality and celebrates the story of America's African sons and daughters.

Yonder Mountain String Band, a driving force in roots music for nearly three decades, kicks off a new chapter with Nowhere Next. Featuring original songs inspired by lived experiences, people and places that have shaped them, the album is a mix of bluegrass, indie rock, and country with soulful, funky grooves that call for a good time.

Elvin Bishop and Charlie Musselwhite

Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame guitarist Elvin Bishop and Grammy-winning harmonica master Charlie Musselwhite are fellow blues travelers and living blues giants. The two history-making musicians—both Blues Hall Of Famers—have over 100 years of professional musicianship between them. They are among the most famous bluesmen in the world.
